摘 要:针对一个双寡头模型 ,研究其中一个企业从事成本降低型 R& D时横向一体化的效应 .不从事 R& D的企业可以通过溢出从对方的 R& D中获益而降低生产成本 .研究表明 ,一体化企业的利润大于一体化前两个企业的利润之和 ,但一体化前后 R& D投资和产量的多少却取决于具体参数的值 .当溢出足够大时 ,一体化后R& D投资增加 ;而溢出较小时 ,一体化后的 R& D投资可能增加也可能减少 .若一体化后 R& D投资减少 ,则市场上的产品产量降低 .与不考虑 R& D的传统模型不同的是 ,在特定的条件下 ,一体化后的产量可能增加 .This paper analyzes the effects of horizontal integration under a duopoly model with one firm engaging in cost reducing R&D. The firm not conducting R&D can benefit through spillover from the R&D firm and then reduce its production cost. It is shown that the integration increases the industry profit. However, whether the integration increases the R&D investment and output is dependent on the values of some parameters. The integration increases the R&D investment when the spillover is large enough. For small spillovers, the R&D investment may increase or decrease after the integration occurs. If the integration decreases the R&D investment, then the output in the market decreases. It is should be noted that the integration may increase the output under some conditions, which is contrary to the traditional model without R&D concern. Finally, some more detail results are derived in a special model.
