摘　　要："建筑与城市文脉"是西安建筑科技大学建筑学院立足于西安深厚的历史文化资源而开设的一门特色设计课程。课程侧重训练学生在城市整体环境中分析、把握和体现建筑与环境文脉的能力。本文以2016年的教学实践与思考为主要内容,介绍了课程的背景、任务、方法、步骤和成果,阐述了以隋唐长安城遗址标识展示设计为内容、以"对话唐长安"为题的教学探索过程。＂Architecture in Context＂ is a special design course of School of Architecture, Xi＇an University of Architecture and Technology, which is based on the deep historical and cultural background of Xi＇an. The course focuses on training the students the ability of analyzing and grasping the context of architecture and environment in the whole city. Based on the course teaching practice and thinking of the year of 2016, it introduces the background, tasks, methods, steps and results of the course, and describes the teaching exploration process which takes heritage interpretation of Chang＇an City of Sui and Tang Dynasties as the content and ＂dialogue with Chang＇an City of Tang Dynasty＂ as the topic.
