景德镇传统制瓷行业用语英译探微

摘　　要：景德镇传统制瓷行业术语是陶瓷文化的重要组成部分。将景德镇传统制瓷行业术语分成原料类、制瓷类、装饰类、烧窑类、产品类和习俗类,提出其翻译应遵循专业性、单义性、约定俗成性和适当补偿的原则,并总结出直译、意译、采用约定俗成译文和"译+释"的翻译策略,以期为陶瓷文化外宣翻译提供借鉴。Jingdezhen traditional porcelain making terms, a part of ceramic culture, can fall into 6 catergories, namely, material terms, body forming terms,decorating terms,kiln firing terms,product terms and customs terms. Its translation should adhere to four principles： be specific in cermamic field,unique in meaning,long established,and fully informative, and four translation strategies such as literal translation, liberal translation,adopting long - established translated names, translation plus explanation can be applicable so as to provide references for translation of ceramic culture.
