摘　　要：在语义学的框架下,结合交际中的语用,运用列举、对比等分析方法,对英语中的让步从句作基于语义内容的分类,归纳出六种类型的让步从句,并分析指出让步从句的预期与主句内容不一致。Within the framework of semantics, based on sentence meaning, the classification of concessive adverbial clauses in English is studied with reference to the pragmatic in communication. Such methods as illustration, contrast are employed in the study. The analysis shows there are six types of concessive clauses in English complex sentences, and the main clause result is incompatible with the expectation of the concessive clause.
