摘  要:地学科普基地是开展地学科普宣传教育的重要基地,是组织地学科普活动的平台。以广州大学资源环境与区域规划实验室为例,探讨依托高校实验室现有教学实验条件,建立科普基地的优势。从更新理念、挖掘内涵、健全活动机制以及创新活动形式等方面,论述如何以实物展示为基础,利用地理信息技术及先进仪器设备,建立以虚拟天地、矿物岩石、植物地理为主的地学科普基地。并通过数字天象、模拟星空、虚拟地理情景从了解地球环境,从矿物岩石、植物地理的认知体验和互动,感触多彩地球家园,向公众弘扬自然科学思想,普及地学科普知识,推介有效开展地学科普教育活动的做法和经验。Science educational base for geosciences is an important place to carry out geosciences popularization of education, and is a platform to organize activities of geoscienees popularization. By an example of laboratory of resources, environment and regional planning in Guangzhou University, the advantage of establishing a popular science base is discussed by relying on existing teaching and laboratory conditions in the university. A science educational base for geosciences that includes a virtual world, mineral rocks and plant with a real show and the use of GIS technology is established. Advanced idea is discussed from updating concept, excavating connotation, and improving the mechanism of innovation activity, etc. In the base, a colorful planet is displayed by simulation of the earth's environment, cognitive experience and interaction of mineral rocks and plant. It gives the possibility of promoting to the public the natural scientific thought, and spreading geosciences knowledge. It also gives the effective practice and experience of carrying out the geosciences popularization of education activities.
