论中国现代诗歌中括号的审美功能

摘　　要：括号等标点符号作为现代汉语系统的重要分支,同时也是现代诗歌之"现代性"的重要构成要素。胡适最早在新诗中使用括号,鲁迅最先拓展了括号在诗歌中的表意功能,此后的徐志摩、李金发、卞之琳、艾青、穆旦等人将括号在诗歌中的作用进一步多样化,主要体现为:注释、插叙或补充、议论或抒情、形成与诗歌主体相应和的副歌等诸多方面。新诗中使用频率最高的是具有"插叙或补充"功能的括号,它们增添了诗意的繁复之美;用括号形成"副歌"的诗篇虽然是少数,但产生了更具音乐性的韵律、情思之美;括号还使一些新诗产生了层次丰富的潜在对话效果,从而表现出与古典诗歌迥异的现代性特征。Parentheses and punctuation marks are not only sub-categories in modern Chinese language system; they are also important ingredients of modern poetry. Hu Shi was the first to use parentheses in new poetry and Lu Xun was the first to have expanded the ideographic function of parentheses in poetry, followed by Xu Zhimo, Li Jinfa, Bian Zhiling, Ai Qing, and Mu Dan who further diversified the functions of parentheses in new poetry, such as annotation, interposed or supplementary narration, commentary or lyrical explanation, and indication of chorus corresponding to the thematic need. Among them, the most frequently used function is ＂interposed or supplementary narration＂ which can make the poetic meaning more sophisticated and meaningful. Although the function of ＂indication of chorus＂ is not so frequently used, it increases the beauty of musical rhythm and the effect of intense emotion and thought. Apart from what has been discussed, parentheses can be used to achieve the effect of multi-layered or potential dialogues, which is the main feature distinguishing modern from classical poems.
