摘　　要：大足石刻六道轮回图以其独特的艺术表现形式和生动的造型语言,在我国石窟艺术同类题材中别具一格。文章通过对大足石刻六道轮回图典型视觉元素的解析与提炼,深入挖掘其潜在的价值及设计应用的空间与可能性,尝试将具有形式美和精神内涵的视觉元素运用于现代设计中,使大足石刻传统文化符号在设计中得以延伸与应用。With its unique artistic form of expression and lively modeling language, the wheel of life in Dazu rock carvings is dis- tinctive in our country＇s cave art. This paper analyses and refines the typical visual elements in the wheel of life carving, deeply excavates its potential value and applied possibility. It attempts to apply the visual elements with beauty and spiritual intension to modern design to develop the traditional cultural symbol of Dazu rock carvings.
