摘　　要：吴勉华教授对中医内科常见病有着丰富的临床治疗经验,特别在恶性肿瘤患者的临床治疗中,有着较高的造诣。吴教授认为,鼻咽癌的病机主要为癌毒致病,正气亏虚,而放疗则是目前治疗鼻咽癌的首选。由于放射治疗采用的放射性属于热性杀伤剂,对正常的口腔及鼻黏膜均有损伤作用,相当于中医学"热邪淫侵"。多次放疗后,患者正气损伤日益,并最终造成气阴两伤。临床上则表现为局部的津液不足,主要症状包括口干、咽干、吞咽困难等。吴教授在鼻咽癌放疗后患者的辩证论治方面具有独到的见解,临床以气阴两伤论治,往往取得较好的临床疗效。现总结吴勉华教授在鼻咽癌放疗后的临症经验,为本病的中医治疗提供新的思路。Profzssor WU Mianhua has rich clinical experience in treating common diseases concerning Chinese inter- nal medicine, especially dealing with patients with malignant tumors. Prof. WU believes that the pathogenesis of nasopha- ryngeal cancer is mainly cancerous toxin causing deficiency of Qi （positive energy in human body） and radiotherapy is currently the first choice in treating nasopharyngeal cancer. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the radiation used in radiotherapy can be seen as a kind of heat - killing agent and its damage to normal oral and nasal mucosa is equivalent to heat and negative power invading the body. The positive energy in patients decreases as they take more and more radio- therapy sessions, finally resulting in Qi - Yin deficiency. Clinically, the major symptom is deficiency of local body fluid so that patients may experience dry mouth and throat, dysphagia, etc. Prof. WU is outstanding in syndrome differentiation and treatment for post - radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal cancer and his therapy based on Qi - Yin deficiency theory often produces satisfactory clinical efficacy. This paper summarizes Prof. WU＇s clinical experience in treating post -radiothera- py of nasopharyngeal cancer and provides new insights for the treatment of this disease.
