高中生英语口语焦虑与英语自我概念的相关性研究

摘  要:为了探究高中生英语口语焦虑与英语自我概念的现状及二者的相关性,本研究对内蒙古某高中高二年级110名学生进行了“高中生英语学习情况”调查,通过定量分析与定性分析相结合的方法得出如下结论:(1)高中生普遍存在英语口语焦虑现象,口语焦虑程度中等;(2)大多数学生对自己的英语水平评价不高,有着消极的英语自我概念;(3)高中生英语口语焦虑与英语自我概念呈显著负相关,英语语音自我概念与英语口语焦虑的相关系数达到-0.8,二者相关程度最高。因此,教师可以通过提升学生的英语自我概念(尤其是英语语音自我概念)来有效降低他们的英语口语焦虑。In order to figure out the real situation about English speaking anxiety and English self- concept among senior high school students and the relationship between these two factors, the questionnaires were distributed to 110 senior high school students with quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Three major findings are presented as follows: (1) Senior high school students hold fairly pervasive speaking anxiety generally, and its level is moderate. (2) Most students have negative English self-concept. (3) There is a strongly significant negative correlation between English speaking anxiety and English self-concept. English pronunciation self-concept is most related to English speaking anxiety. Therefore, students' English speaking anxiety can be reduced to a moderate level through enhancing their English self-concept.
