摘 要:沃林格的艺术研究缺乏语境意识,脱离了艺术产生的具体文化语境。他仅关注艺术的形式特征,忽视了其文化属性与功能。在他的理论体系中,艺术及艺术史是被建构起来的,而非如其所是地呈现的。沃林格的抽象冲动并非专属于艺术领域,而是一种普遍的精神欲求。它具有类型化的特质,不涉及艺术的内在机制。他认为抽象形式源自于艺术之外的先验存在,而非艺术发展的结果。他的抽象理论与史实不符合,倒置了因果关系。在他那里,抽象始终游离于艺术之外,成为艺术之外的先验存在。Wallinger′s study of art lacks a contextual awareness and consequently neglects the specific cultural context in which art is produced.He is only concerned with the formal characteristics of art and ignores its cultural attributes and func-tions.In his theory, art and art history are constructed rather than presented.His idea of abstract impulse isn′t specific to the field of art, but is a common spiritual desire.It has characteristics of type and doesn′t involve the internal mechanism of art. He believes that the abstract form derives from a prior existence outside of art, rather than the result of artistic development. His theory is inconsistent with historical facts and inverts the causal relationship.With him the abstract is always separated from art and becomes the prior existence outside of art.
