摘　　要：在英语专业四级考试改革的背景下,以及对写作部分的具体调整和测试要求下,结合目前英语写作教学现状,从教学手段、教学内容优化等方面进行思考,分析了英语写作和翻译两门课程的共性及其相互结合的可行性,建议教师将翻译课程教学与英语写作教学结合,希望能够在新的形势下更有效的进行英语写作教学,从而真正提高学生的写作与翻译能力。In the context of TEM4 reform as well as the specific testing requirements for writing, this paper analyzed thesimilarity of English writing and translation course as well as the feasibility of integration of two coursed combined with thecurrent situation of English writing teaching from aspects of teaching methods and teaching content optimization, hoping tocarry out more effective English writing teaching in the new situation, so as to truly improve students＇ writing and translationcapabilities.
