摘　　要：马拉默德在《店员》中用十分细腻的笔触向我们展示了美国犹太移民所经历的创伤。小说中每一位主要人物都经历了各种各样的创伤,并成功的采用不同方法得以愈合。本文以创伤理论作为基础,紧密结合文本,对小说主人公莫里斯所经历的创伤和愈合的过程进行了详细的阐述。In ＂The Assistant＂,Malamud depicts the traumas experienced by Jewish immigrants in America in detail. Each protagonist in the novel encounters a variety of traumas. They adopt different methods to recover from the traumas and succeed in the end. Based on trauma theory and combined with the text closely. This thesis elaborates on the traumatic experiences and the process of recovery of the protagonist Morris.
