摘　　要：明代四夷馆是中国历史上首个具有教习夷语、辨译朝贡表文及伴送朝贡使臣回国等多项职能的涉外机构。学界已经对该机构的性质、位置、隶属及职能略有探讨,本文在此基础上,对上述的内容进一步考证,并通过探讨四夷馆的组成人员及选用方式、职能及管理制度、组成人员的经济待遇及该馆的财务状况等问题,以求窥见明代四夷馆的生存及运行状况。SI-YI-Guan(四夷馆)in the Ming Dynasty was the first foreign-related institutionwith multi-functions like teaching Yi language,identifying and translating tributary tables,sending the tributary envoys to return,and the like.By exploring its staff composition,selection mode,functions,management system,economic treatment of personnel,financial situation and other issues,then get a glimpse of SI-YI-Guan’s living and operation conditions in the Ming Dynasty.
