摘 要:The book Climate Change and Society: Sociological Perspectives, organized by Riley Dunlap and Robert Brulle, was published in 2015 by Oxford University Press. The publication is the result of the Task Force on Sociology and Global Climate Change of the American Sociological Association (ASA), established by ASA's board in 2010. The group's main task is to produce recommendations for public policy based on the sociological analysis of the climate issue. Hence, the book was written in a specific institutional context and at the same time, in a challenging global context where climate change has become a major threat to the future of humanity.
