Objective: Evaluating the efficacy of anti- hepatitis B virus by Meta- analysis in the use of chemotherapy for hematologic malignancies. Methods: We searched related papers about randomized controlled trials ofapplying chemotherapy and antiviral treatment on patients with hematologic malignancies and hepatitis B virus( HBV)in Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials,MEDLINE,EMBase,CNKI,Wanfang Data,VIP database,CBM. Retrieved time limits are from the time of building a database to December 2015. Statistical analysis was performed by RevM an5. 2 software. Results: Existing studies showed that applying chemotherapy and antiviral treatment simultaneously on patients with hematologic malignancies and HBV can reduce activation rate of HBV,chemotherapy latency rate,hepatitis- related mortality rate, and the rate of liver dysfunction, have overall improvement of adverse clinical response in patients with chemotherapy. Conclusion: The treatment can improve the life quality of patients, prolong the survival time. therefore,it is suggested that we should apply antiviral drugs on patients with hematologic malignancies and HBV preventively before chemotherapy.
