摘 要:基于陕西、青海、宁夏10所中学1881名初中学生的调研访谈数据,本文采用二元logit回归估计辍学行为的影响因素和各因素的边际效应,比较父母外出务工和寄宿制对农村学生辍学的影响程度差异。结果表明:控制其他因素不变,在校寄宿比其父母外出务工更容易导致农村初中生辍学,学习成绩低和所在班级规模大的学生辍学概率更高;父亲外出务工、母亲外出务工和父母双方外出务工对学生辍学的影响呈现出异质性。本文认为,寄宿学校里成绩低的学生是防止辍学重点,需要提升生活老师专业沟通技能等"软件"要素并控制班级规模,建立寄宿生辍学倾向的动态监测和干预制度。Based on the data collected through surveys and interviews of 1881 junior high school students from ten middle schools in Shaanxi, Qinghai and Ningxia, this study uses Logit Regression to analyze the factors that contribute to rural dropout and the marginal effect of each factor, comparing the different influence of parents' migrant work and school boarding. The results show if all other factors are equal, middle school students under boarding are prone to dropout,.,especially for students with poor achievement and in large scale class. Degree of influence also varies among students who experience paternal migration for work, maternal migration for work and the both. The study suggests that to prevent dropout, students with poor achievement in the boarding school require most attention. Such measures could be taken as escalating caretakers' professional communication skills, controlling the class size and establishing dynamic detection and intervention system against students dropout tendency.
