摘  要:根据传统语法,英语语言中的定语从句可分为限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句,它是中国英语学习者的一个重点与难点。本文试图从构式语法的认知视角重新审视非限制性定语从句的形式与语义结构。首先,本文作者认为非限制性定语从句是一个具有完型意义的形义结合体或对子;其次,非限制性定语从句的概念语义结构与其本身所蕴含的意象图式有密切的关系。由此可见,本文的研究成果对于我国外语教学具有一定的启示作用。Within the framework of traditional grammar, attributive clauses are categorized into the restrictive type and the non - restrictive type respectively, and they constitute a down - to - earth hard nut for Chinese EFL learners. The present paper makes an attempt to probe into the nature of non - restrictive attributive clauses in the perspective of Construction Grammar. On the one hand, we are on the stance that the non - restrictive attributive clause is a gestalt with a pairing of form and meaning, namely construction. On the other hand, the conceptual structure or the semantic structure of the non - restrictive attributive is one way or another attributed to the schema it is crystalized. The article concludes by claiming that the cognitive research on non - restrictive attributive clauses will be of much help to the foreign language teaching in China.
