摘　　要：《玻璃城堡》以家族的经历,揭示秩序和混乱的对立统一体——"混沌"——构成了世界的本质特征和人生的真实面目。荒唐的父母和无序的家庭只是生活的表象,有序的空间"玻璃城堡"不过是幻想。事实上,秩序和混乱如影随形,相辅相成。By telling the family saga in her memoir The Glass Castle, Jeannette Walls asserts that the world＇ s essence and life＇s truth are characterized by the unity of orderliness and disorderliness, namely “ chaos”. The ridiculous parents and their disorderly family are merely superficial phenomena and the orderly “glass castle” is nothing but a fantasy. In fact, orderliness and disorderliness are associated closely with each other and can not be separated.
