摘　　要：更敦群培是20世纪从青藏高原走出去的著名的藏族学者,是西藏人文主义先驱和宗教改革家。本文从寺院教育的熏陶、特殊的成长背景两个方面分析更敦群培思想的文化根源。并主要通过文献分析、调查、走访、访谈等方法,走近更敦群培的同乡、朋友以及与更敦群培相同时代的几位学者和格西进行访谈,研究了更敦群培的中观思想、戒律观、入世观、家庭观。Gendun Chophel is a well-known Tibetan scholar who is from the Tibetan Plateau in 20 th century.He is also a ioneer in Tibet humanism and religious reformer.This paper discusses some academic viewpoints of some contemporary researches on Gendun Chophel.It tries to analyze Gendun Chophel＇s cultural thought root from two aspects-the influence of monastic education and his special background.The author did this research on Gendun Chophel＇s thoughts of the middle way,thought of religious discipline and thought of family with the research methods which are literature analysis,investigations,visits,interviews as well as approached Gendun Chophel＇s friends,and some scholars who are from the same place with Gendun Chophel or visiting some scholars and Geshes who are in the same period with Gendun Chophel.
