摘　　要：《还乡》是英国著名作家托马斯·哈代最出色的作品之一,读者可以从小说中直接或间接地找出多处相对应的《圣经》原型。原型批评理论家认为文学的发展主要是原型在作品中的"置换变形",通过一系列的隐喻形式在作品中反复出现。本文从人物原型、主题原型和意象原型三个方面探讨了《还乡》中的《圣经》原型,以增强读者对小说的隐喻和内涵深层次的理解。The Return of the Native is one of the famous English writer Thomas Hardy＇s best works. The Return of the Native in The Bible Archetype could be found in many places directly or indirectly. Archetypal criticism theorists argue that the development of literature is mainly the displacement of the Archetype in the works,which would recur through a series of metaphorical form in the works. From character archetypes,theme archetypes,and image archetypes,the paper discussed the archetypes of The Return of the Native in The Bible,which enhance the readers ＇deeper understanding to the metaphor and connotation of the novel.
