摘　　要：在网络的互动交际中,人们出于各种心理需要乐此不疲地塑造着自我身份,这种"虚拟自我"身份与"现实自我"身份具有相似又不尽相同的结构特征,文章通过从社会学和心理学等角度对这两者之间的种种复杂关系进行考察和分析,得出了这样一个结论:"虚拟自我"与"现实自我"之间的关系看似有分离,实质上却是一个杂糅在一起的"连续体"。因此,我们不应将网上、网下的身份绝对割裂开来,也无需刻意区分,而应引导人们的网络自我身份塑造向更加真实、更加完善的方向发展。In the Internet-mediated communication, people are engaged in shaping identity for a variety of psychological needs. The identities of virtual self and physical self have similar structures but different characteristics. By analyzing and exploring the complicated relations between them from the perspectives of sociology and psychology, a conclusion can be drawn that though virtual self and physical self are sometimes seemingly separated, they are essentially set on a continuum that is at once hybridized and integrated. Therefore, we do not need to deliberately distinguish the identities online or offline, but we should guide people to develop a more realistic, more perfect “self” in the Internet-mediated interaction.
