摘　　要：《铁木前传》是非常独特的文本。只有通过细读才能发现其深层结构中包含的病理倾向,而这一病理倾向鲜明的文本却产生了极大的艺术魅力。《铁木前传》的艺术魅力来自作者对意识形态的忠诚、对艺术的忠诚、对生活的忠诚、对自己的忠诚。任何一个角度的不忠都会导致其艺术的破产,这也是这一文本独特价值之所在。从某种意义讲,《铁木前传》是革命作家解决政治信仰和艺术之间矛盾的一个典型范例。As A Prequel to the Blacksmith and the Carpenter is a very unique text,only by reading in detail can one discern the pathological tendency contained in its deep structure,and it is such a text with a distinctive pathological tendency that has generated its great artistic charm. The artistic charm of the novel lies in the writer＇s loyalty to ideology,to art,to life and to himself. Any disloyalty would have led to the failure of his art,which is also the unique value of the text. In some sense,A Prequel to the Blacksmith and the Carpenter is a typical example of how a revolutionary writer has successfully solved the contradiction between political belief and art.
