高等教育面向未来的本质和理想

摘　　要：在高等教育的演变过程中,充满着高等教育是什么与不是什么的困惑,尤为其与大学以及教育之间的关系最为突出。就本质而言,"高等教育"既不同于大学,也不同于教育。从机构层面上说,大学仅仅是高等教育的实施机构之一;从活动层面上说,教育活动并不自然涵盖高等教育活动。高等教育拥有自己的理想,即在"高深知识"的基础上实现学生心智的全面发展。现实情况是,高等教育面临市场化、技术主义和消费主义的冲击,逐渐背离了自己的理想,忽略了为社会培养心智全面发展的"人"这一根本责任。高等教育只有切实承担自己的责任,在坚持理想的前提下探求结合理想与现实的未来发展之路,高等教育的远景与未来才是美好的。In the process of higher education development,there is full of confusion about the concept of higher education,especially about its relationship with the university and education. In essence,the concept of ＂higher education＂ is different from the university or education. From the perspective of institutions,the university is only one kind of institution to conduct higher education. From the perspective of activities,the activity of education doesn＇t include the activity of higher education automatically. Higher education has its own ideal,that is,to cultivate the all-round development of students＇ mind on the basis of ＂ profound knowledge＂.Under the influence of the marketization,technicism and consumerism,however,higher education has betrayed its ideal and ignored its ultimate responsibilities to foster all-round developed persons. Only by taking responsibility and pursuing future development that combines ideal and reality with its ideal cherished can higher education have a better prospect and future.
