摘　　要：创新文明是世界一流大学的核心特征。西方大学诞生于中世纪宗教文化的阴霾之中,传承创新了人文主义的文化,塑造了西方文明的人文性。中国的古典书院,作为高等教育的一种重要形式,传承创新了儒家的德性人文主义文化,形塑了德性色彩的中华古典文明。近代大学则协同努力,创造了民主和科学特质的新文化,使得民主和科学的新文明畅行于世。现代世界,大学与民族国家一体同在,成为具有不同民族个性色彩的多元文化建设和发展的策源地,从而构造了不同个性色彩的多元文明生态。未来的世界一流大学,需要在建构世界文明共同体的伟大事业中,以倡导和建设一种共享的文化为宗旨,昌明它的伟大的文化使命和历史担当,为人类文明世界的诗意化贡献力量。Creating a new civilization is the core characteristic of the world class universities. Western universities were born among the shadow of medieval religious culture,which inherit and innovate the civilization of humanism. As an important form of higher education,academies in ancient China inherit and innovate the Confucian moral humanism culture,and create Chinese classical civilization of virtue. Modern universities have made concerted efforts to create a new culture with democratic and scientific characteristics. It makes the new civilization of democracy and science very popular. In the contemporary world,the university is closely related to the nation. The university has become the cradle of different national characteristics of multicultural construction and development. Thus,it constructs a diverse civilization ecology with different individualities.In the great cause of building the world civilization community,future world class universities need to advocate and build a shared culture,demonstrate its great cultural mission and historical tasks,and make contributions to the poetic flavor of human world＇s civilization.
