摘　　要：安纳德等早期印度英语小说以印度民族独立为时代背景,通过外貌、语言等方面的描写,塑造具有甘地思想的人物形象,描述印度人民在甘地思想指导下所进行的争取民族独立的运动,并通过作品宣扬了甘地思想和政治策略。Taking the national independence of India as the era background,the works by Anand and other writers in the early Indian English fiction give the shape of characters with the thought of Gandhi,describe the national independence movement of Indian people under the guidance of Gandhi＇s thought,and publicize through the works the thought of Gandhi and his political strategies.
