概念隐喻视角下语篇连贯功能研究——以《重返巴比伦》为例

摘　　要：本文选取菲兹杰拉德的小说《重返巴比伦》作为分析对象,系统分析概念隐喻如何构建语篇连贯。本文从局部连贯和整体连贯入手,分析对话语篇的连贯性。研究发现,小说通过中心隐喻构建背景、人物、情节和主题4个要素,实现整体连贯;隐喻的系统性和共同蕴含为语篇连贯提供可能。This paper has selected F. Scott Fitzgerald＇s novel Babylon Revisited and Other Stories（ with a certain amount of descriptive discourses） as an analysis object,and systematically analyzes how the conceptual metaphor constructs the discourse coherence. It has found out that the systematicness and common implication of conceptual metaphor can provide the possibility. Starting from local coherence and global coherence,the analysis relates to discourse coherence. The research holds that novels can construct the four elements： background,characters,plots and themes,by central metaphor,in order to realize global coherence.
