摘 要:美国生态学马克思主义代表人物詹姆斯·奥康纳试图将文化与自然的内涵融合于历史唯物主义的架构之中,通过揭示劳动过程中文化与自然的内在统一性,纠正人们在技术决定论与经济决定论视野下对唯物史观的片面理解,重新塑造了一种将文化、自然和劳动联系起来的生态学马克思主义的历史观,即生态唯物史观。在此基础上,奥康纳进一步提出:当代资本主义社会除了生产力与生产关系所构成的第一重矛盾之外,还有另外一种特殊矛盾,即由生产方式(生产关系和生产力)与当下生产条件所构成的资本主义的第二重矛盾,这拓展了其生态唯物史观的理论内涵。奥康纳的生态唯物史观具有重要的理论意义,但是对于社会发展模式的判断也存在不足之处。James O'Connor, the representative of American Ecological Marxism, tried to integrate the connota- tion of nature and culture into the framework of historical materialism, and to correct people' partial understanding of historical materialism in the perspective of technological determinism and economic determinism by revealing the intrinsic unity of nature and culture the labor process, and to reshape a historical view of Ecological Marxism which links culture, nature and labor, namely Ecological and Historical Materialism. On the basis mentioned above, O' Connor further proposed that in the modem capitalist society, besides the first contradiction of capitalism formed by productive force and productive relations, there was one more special contradiction, which was the second contra- diction of capitalism formed by production mode ( productive force and productive relations) and the current pro- duction conditions. Thus O'Connor expands the theoretical connotation of Ecological and Historical Materialism. Al- though O'Connor's Ecological and Historical Materialism has important theoretical significance, there are also limita- tions in the judgements of social development model.
