摘　　要：文章分析了成人英语教学的现状,提出了提高成人英语教学质量的策略是分层次教学,阐述了分层次教学的理论基础、现实基础、实施方式及实施效果。Adult educational students are poor in English, and their levels are very altterent Irom eacn other. So how to improve the quality of adult English teaching is an issue question for English teacher. The writer of this article analyzes the current situation of adult English teaching, and suggests that hierarchical teaching is a key to solve the puzzle of adult English teaching and learning. This article elaborates hierarchical teaching in terms of theoretical foundation, realistic foundation, mode of execution, implementation effect, analyses and concluding.
