摘　　要：目的研究转录因子twist在食管鳞状细胞癌(简称食管癌)中细胞亚定位及临床意义。方法采用免疫组化染色方法检测twist在58例食管癌及对应癌旁组织表达情况,并分析其细胞亚定位与患者性别、年龄、肿瘤位置、TNM分期、淋巴结转移等临床资料的关系。结果 twist在食管癌细胞浆及细胞核中表达水平均显著高于癌旁组织(P<0.01);twist在细胞浆的表达水平与患者性别、年龄、位置、TNM分期及淋巴结转移均无显著相关性(P>0.05);twist在食管癌细胞核中的高表达与患者TNM分期及淋巴结转移密切相关(P<0.01),而与患者性别、年龄及食管癌位置无显著相关性(P>0.05)。结论 twist在食管癌细胞核中高表达,与肿瘤恶性进展密切相关,可能是食管癌恶性进展的重要标记物。Objective To study the clinical significance of the expression of transcription factor twist in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma （ESCC）. Methods The immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of twist in 58 pairs of ESCC and matched non-cancerous tissues, and the relationship between twist expression in ESCC cytoplasm and nuclear with patient age, gender, tumor location, TNM stage and lymph node metastasis was analysized. Results Both the expression of twist in ESCC cytoplasm and nuclear were significantly higher than that in matched non-cancerous tissues （P 〈 0.01）. The expression of twist in ESCC cytoplasm was not statistically correlated with patients clinical parameters （P 〉 0.05）; the expression of twist in ESCC nuclear was significantly correlated with advantaged TNM stage and lymph node metastasis, but not with age, gender or tumor location （P 〉 0.05）. Conclusion The highly expression of twist in ESCC nuclear is correlated with the malignant progression of tumor, indicating that twist expression in nuclear is a critical markers of ESCC.
