金文“■”字再考

摘　　要：本文论证了金文所见之“ ”字当释为“號”,重新释读了金文、战国秦汉文字中所见相关之字,探讨了“號”、“呼”同源及虎得名之源。This research restudies the inscription ＂ ＂ which we believe it should be explained as ＂hao（號）＂. And also we reinterpret some related characters in the inscription of Warring States, Qin and Han dynasties texts. After all these arguments, finally we find words ＂hao（號）＂ and ＂hu（呼）＂ came from a same origin. And we also conclude how tiger got its Chinese name as ＂hu（虎）＂.
