摘　　要：MOOC的兴起与快速发展已成为近年来全球教育界关注的焦点。MOOC以其高自由度、使用的便捷性、丰富的优质学习资源以及具有国际化视野等优点,颠覆了传统教育模式和教育理念。一方面,它将对新疆高等教育的跨越式发展产生强有力的推进作用;另一方面,它在新疆的高等教育改革发展中也将面临严峻的挑战。Massive Open Online Courses were brought into focus in global education for its rise and rapid development. Its high degree of freedom, convenience of using, abundant high quality learning resources and international vision subverted the traditional education mode and concepts. MOOC played a crucial role in the leapfrog development of the higher education in Xinjiang, and is also facing unprecedented challenges of the higher education reform in Xinjiang.
