摘　　要：通识教育在现代大学教育中起到重要作用。以"元素的故事"为例,本文对大学文科学生自然科学通识课的教学内容和教学方法进行了深入思考,有助于激发学生思考兴趣,提高学生科学素养。General education plays an important role in modern university education. Aiming at liberal arts students we discussed the teaching content and methodology of natural science courses taking the ＂story of elements＂ for instance This is helpful to stimulating scientific thinking and science literacy of students.
