摘　　要：On October 26th, 2016, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Suriname, a grand cel- ebration activity was held in the official residence of the Chinese Embassy in Suriname, welcoming the President and President＇s lady of Suriname, Chinese ambassador to Suriname and his wife, UN agencies in Suriname and ambassadors from the United States,France, India, and Indonesia as well as the local celeb- rities attended the event.
