摘　　要：英语类专业的"本科教学质量国家标准"是我国英语类专业人才培养创新和质量提升的重要指导依据。本文借鉴美国、澳大利亚及欧盟高校外语教师专业发展的经验,在"国家标准"背景下阐释我国英语类专业师资队伍建设的发展方向。文章建构了我国高校英语教师专业能力框架,对英语教师专业能力发展体系建设提出了建议,以期推动我国英语类专业的内涵式发展。The national criteria of teaching quality for BA programs in English provide important guidelines for the innovation and quality improvement of English talent cultivation in China. Drawing on the experience of foreign lan- guage teacher development at institutions of higher learning in the United States, Australia and European Union, this paper probes into teachers＇ professional development of English programs in China under the direction of the national criteria. It proposes a competence framework for English teachers, and puts forward suggestions on English teachers＇ professional development, with the aim of promoting English education in China.
