摘　　要：2013年7月,为配合敦煌西千佛洞崖体抢险加固工程,敦煌研究院考古所对西千佛洞未编号的洞窟进行彻底清理发掘,共清理未编号的洞窟42个。石窟因近代有过使用,部分改变了石窟的形制,出土遗物也很少。此次清理清楚了石窟数量,弄清了石窟的形制和性质,为石窟研究提供了新资料。In order to assist with the emergency consolidation project on the cliffs of the Western Thousand- Buddha Grottoes at Dunhuang in July of 2013, the Archaeological Institute of Dunhuang Academy thoroughly excavated 42 unnumbered caves. Because these caves had been in use in recent times, the form of the caves was found to have been partially modified and archaeological finds were extremely limited. This excavation confirmed the total number as well as the forms and properties of the caves, providing new material for future cave research.
