摘　　要：作为20世纪美国文学扛鼎作之一,《了不起的盖茨比》生动重现了"喧嚣年代"奢靡浮华的美国社会风貌和情感节奏及其背后深藏的空虚怅惘。文本拟以弗洛伊德的精神创伤论作为理论框架,着重解析小说主人公杰伊·盖茨比的内心世界,探究盖茨比一生无法摆脱幻想的深层心理因素,提出与其"理想爱人"——黛西分手的创伤之痛以及随之带来的缺失感是盖茨比一生无法摆脱幻想的根本原因,体现了作者对弗洛伊德精神创伤理论的深刻见解。77ie Great Gatsby, one of the greatest novels in the 20th century American literature, vividly reproduced the extravagant flashy style in the roaring times of the American society and the emotional rhythm and the deep hidden emptiness. With Freudian trauma theory as a theoretical framework, this paper aimed to give an analysis of Jay Gatsby,s inner world and explore the hidden psychological factors that made him unable to escape his illusions. It finally concluded that it was the trauma and the following psychological loss resulting from the broken relationship with his “ idealized love”, Daisy, that kept him trapped in a fantasy world forever, which embodied the author, s insights from Freudian trauma theory.
