摘　　要：日本人自古以来受地震灾害的困扰,在历史变迁中逐渐形成了较具特色的"地震性格"。面对地震灾害的发生,日本人从容不迫,能够冷静的去组织行动。但是,在冷静的背后,又潜藏了对灾难、对生活的危机意识;在漫长的与灾难抗衡的过程中,日本国民始终保持积极向上的生活态度,勤劳、勇敢,被世人比作"工蜂";与此同时,在这种自然环境的影响下也形成了"享乐主义"、"忍从心理"等国民性格。Since ancient times, the Japanese have been troubled by earthquake disasters, thus gradually forming ＂earthquake characters＂ with its own characteristics during historical changes. Facing earthquake disasters, the Japanese can organize activities composedly. However, behind the composure, there hides crisis awareness towards disaster and life ; in the long process of confronta- tion against disasters, the industrious and courageous Japanese people have always maintained a positive attitude towards life, and are compared to ＂worker bees＂ by the world; meanwhile, under the influence of this natural environment, they also form such national characters as ＂hedonism＂ and ＂tolerance and compliance＂.
