If条件句使用的性别差异特征——一项基于英国国家语料库的研究

摘　　要：本文参照Leech和Svartvik的条件句分类标准,结合情态助动词的系统功能分类和If条件小句句位分布特征,以BNC为语料源,从性别角度探究英语母语者在If条件句使用上所存在的差异。通过对If条件句的使用频数的检索和分析,发现其差异性主要体现在If条件小句的句位、条件句主句中的情态化表达方式以及条件句类型方面。该研究对If条件句使用的性别语言特征的教学和研究具有一定的指导意义。With reference to the theory of modal verbs in apodosis, the position of If conditional＇ s clause and conditionals＇ categories proposed by Leech and Svartvik, this paper attempts to study the Similarities and differences of If conditional used by the British men and women in one of BNC written corpus and explains the results from the perspective of gender. This study shows the specific linguistic features of If conditionals used by both British men and women, which can shed light on the study of the usage of If conditionals on the part of the English language learners.
