摘　　要：康达维译《文选·赋》是学术厚重的深度翻译。由于典籍的历史性,其外文翻译要经历"语内翻译",而以注释为核心的传统"《文选》学"实质就是一个语内翻译的过程。"选学"是《文选·赋》英译的学术基础。译本中丰富的注解将译文置于汉学文本网络之中,西方汉学构成了译本的学术背景。《文选·赋》的翻译是对中国中古时期历史文化的学术研究过程。典籍翻译注重学术研究,主要原因是典籍的历史文化价值往往高于其文学审美价值。Wen xuan, or Selection of Refined Literature,translated by David R. Knechtges, is a thick translation with profound academic research. Translation of classical literature involves a process of 'intralingual translation', which in this case is the glosses and commentaries of Wen xuan. Wen xuan studies and its scholarship constitute the academic basis of its English translation. Copious notes, which go side by side with the text, place the translation in the network of sinological texts, and thereby Sinology constitutes the background of translation. Basically, translation and academic research of humanities are both activities of interpretation, and in this sense translation can be regarded as a type of academic research. The translation of classical literature involves more academic research, for its historical and cultural value overrides its esthetic value.
