从滇案的交涉看中国外交的转变

摘　　要：发生在19世纪70年代的滇案,造成中英之间长达两年的交涉。中国传统外交政策和外交观念的落后在这次交涉中得以充分的体现,英使威妥玛趁机要挟清政府,交涉最后几乎实现了他提出的全部要求。滇案交涉中,外交的失利给清政府带来了沉重的打击,此后清政府开始对传统的外交政策做出调整,逐渐向西方靠拢,从而推动了中国外交近代化的进程。Yunnan Case, happening in the 1870s caused two -year negotiation between China and Great Britain, in which the Chinese traditional foreign policy and the conservative diplomatic idea exposed themselves completely. In the talks, the British minister Thomas Francis Wade took the chance of the case to threaten the Chinese government, and finally achieved almost all his demands. The defeat in the diplomatic negotiations of Yunnan Case brought a heavy blow to the Qing government. Since then, the government began to adjust its traditional foreign policy to match that of the Occident promoting the course of diplomatic modernization of China.
