摘　　要：中国和美国这两个地处不同大陆的国家在文化方面有着巨大的差异。中美的隐私观差异就是一个明显的例子。本文对两国不同的隐私观作了对比分析,并从文化的深层结构去探究产生这些差异的根源。China and America,two countries located on different continents, have a world difference in terms of culture. Thetwo nationsitiffering conception of privacy is a case in point. In this paper, a comparative analysis is made about their disparateconception of privacy. The roots of these differences are probed into from the perspective of the deep structure of culture.
