摘 要:目的:观察胶质纤维酸性蛋白(glial fibrillary acidic protein,GFAP)在人类口腔鳞状细胞癌(oral squamous cell carcinoma,OSCC)中的表达水平及临床意义。方法 :用免疫组织化学法分别检测对人类OSCC组织和口腔良性病变组织中GFAP的表达,并用Kaplan-Meier法生存分析和Cox回归分析评估OSCC患者的预后。结果:GFAP在OSCC组织中的表达水平明显高于口腔良性病变组织。164例人OSCC组织中GFAP阳性率为57.1%。OSCC组织中GFAP的表达水平与淋巴结转移、肿瘤分化程度、TNM分期有关。Kaplan-Meier法生存分析和Cox回归分析显示:高表达GFAP患者生存期短(P<0.05),GFAP表达水平、淋巴结转移与肿瘤分化程度是OSCC的独立预后因素。结论:GFAP表达是OSCC患者预后的生物标志物之一。Objective: This study aimed to examine the expression level of Glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP), and to evaluate the clinical significance of its expression in human oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC). Methods: Immunohis-tochemistry were performed to characterize the expression of GFAP in OSCC tissues and tumor-adjacent normal tissues.Kaplan-Meier survival and Cox regression analyses were carried out to evaluate the prognosis of OSCC. Results: The expression of GFAP in OSCC was significantly higher than that in tumor-adjacent normal tissues. The cytoplasm expression of GFAP was detected in 97 of 164(57.1%) OSCC tissue. The expression level of GFAP in OSCC was related to histopathological grade, lymph node metastasis and TNM. Kaplan-Meier survival and Cox regression analysis revealed that high expression level of GFAP indicates unfavorable survival outcomes in OSCC patients, GFAP expression level and lymph node metastasis were independent prognostic factors of OSCC, respectively(P=0.005, P=0.001). Conclusions: The study suggests that GFAP expression is a one of the prognostic biomarkers for OSCC patients.
