摘  要:在传统木雕工艺与当下艺术观念相互影响冲突的当代文化环境下,是坚守传统木雕工艺的文化基础,还是从当下的艺术潮流中另寻创作表达的形式,抑或逐利于大众消费对木雕工艺品的市场需求?始终是摆在我面前的一个严肃的思考命题。如何化解木雕创作中新旧表达形式的压力,并将其转化为以个体存在感为中心的创作理想?对于探求雕刻新观念,塑造个人风格的"70后"艺术家而言,取决于艺术家个体对待木雕工艺制作以及在创作态度上的取舍。In the contemporary cultural environment, which the mutual impacts between traditional woodcarvings and contemporary ideas of art occurred,if it necessary to stick to cultural foundation of traditional woodcarvings, or to find another creative method in current art trend, or to pursuit the economical interests are the serious questions that I have been thinking for quite a long time. How to resolve the pressure of old and new forms of expressions during the creative process of woodcarving, and turn them into the ideal of creation with individual sense of existence as the center ? As an artist born in 1970s, the exploration of new concept of sculpture depends on artist's attitude to the creation of wood carving.
