摘　　要：志愿者的英语服务能力直接关系到国际性活动的服务质量与效果,是促进异国与会嘉宾沟通与交流的桥梁和纽带。针对唐山市举办的各种国际性活动的背景和志愿者英语服务能力需求进行分析;阐述志愿者英语服务能力建设的理论基础;梳理志愿者英语服务所需具备的各项能力;针对唐山市国际性活动状况提出志愿者英语能力培训途径;对唐山市系统构建志愿者英语服务能力平台与体系机制提出建议。Volunteers’English language capacity directly influences the service quality and effect in international activities, which is the key point in the communication between foreign participants. In the paper volunteers’ English service capacity training theoretical basis is elaborated, a series of needed English service abilities for volunteers are sorted out; training pathways are suggested referring to the status of international activities of Tangshan City and finally advices on the platform for systematic building of volunteers English service abilities and mechanism are put forward.
