摘　　要：英雄主题是英美文学长达千年的创作主题之一,深刻地影响了英美文学的发展脉络,在20世纪遭遇了前所未有的消解。在英美文学中英雄人物、英雄故事、英雄信仰三个角度反映英雄的主题,荒诞化、空虚化、虚幻化反映英雄主题的当代境遇,英美文学中英雄主题的嬗变与社会层面及文学层面的变迁紧密相联。Heroic theme is one creation theme in the one thousand year history of British and American literature. It has profoundly influenced the development vein of British and American literature and encountered the unprecedented decomposition in the 20th century. The theme of hero can be reflected in the literature from the following three perspectives： heroic figures, heroic stories as well as the heroes＇ faith. The contemporary circumstances of heroic theme can be reflected from the absurd, the empty and the fantasy. The change of the heroic theme in British and American literature is closely related to the changes on the social and literature level.
