摘　　要：湘军集团崛起之后不仅大力荫庇栽培亲属后辈,而且鼎力帮扶提携乡友邻里,还全力兴办学校教化后人,为广大湘中学子的成才创造了良好的条件。湘军集团的这些举措,使湘中近代人才异军突起。After the Xiang Army rose, they began to energetically protect and educate their relatives and offspring, and vigor- ously guide and support their fellow-townsmen and neighbors. They also set up schools where later generations were educated, which provided good conditions for the growth of a large number of young men in central Hunan. What the Xiang Army did for the local people resulted in the emergence of countless talents in central Hunan.
