摘　　要：历经4个世纪的发展,英国的阿拉伯研究已形成广博而精深的研究体系。当下英国的阿拉伯文化研究凸显研究视点精细、注重实证分析、采用跨学科研究方法的特点。它的研究进路包括:以西方视角研究阿拉伯文化在西方的映射;以阿拉伯-西方双重视角探析阿拉伯-伊斯兰世界文化经验本身。其中彰显的敏锐的"现实意识"、研究重心下移、大众文化研究取向等等,都为我们构建融通中外的阿拉伯研究话语体系开拓了新视野。With four centuries of academic tradition, contemporary Arabic studies in the UK have developed a broad and profound research system. Its striking features include being precise and penetrating, emphasis on the empirical research and adoption of interdisciplinary methodology. Two dominant trends in Middle - East and Arabic studies in the UK can be identified. One is to illuminate the representation of Arabic culture in the Western perspective ; the other is to explore the Arabic - Islamic cultural experience itself from a dual perspective, combining the views of Western and Arabic scholars. British scholars in this field, with their sharp consciousness of reality, their shifting research focus, and their approach towards popular culture, have forged a new path that helps us to construct an interactive discourse in the field of Chinese Arabic studies.
