英语超音段音位的语义区别功能

摘　　要：英语音段音位是具有语义区别功能的最小语音学单位,但并不意味着音段音位是决定音段语义的唯一因素。音段音位共时性的另一特征,超音段音位也具备影响和决定音段语义的功能。通过实例来阐释日常表达中常见的包括重音、语调和音渡,等超音段音位的语义区别功能。Segmental phoneme is the minimum phonetic unit which can distinguish meaning, but it is not the unique one. Supra-seg- mental phoneme, which characterizes the synchronic features of phoneme, has a great influence on meaning of segment. The papers is to prove the semantic function of segmental phoneme by concrete examples.
