摘　　要：本文旨在探讨实验对形式语义学研究的特殊意义和作用,指出语义实验特别值得关注的探索方向和领域。在阐述形式语义学理论关注重点、形式语义学学科定位的基础上,指出形式语义学研究对实验方法的依赖以及实验为语义理论研究提供启示的可能。实验对于语义学研究的特殊意义一方面在于弥补传统理论分析方法在动态性和隐性语义研究方面的不足。另一方面,通过实验对认知过程进行探索,以真值为核心的语义理论或许能更好地反映认知心理。The article illustrates the unique significance of the experimental approach for formal semantics and suggests a few promising areas of research in experimental studies. By expounding on the major theoretical concerns and the changing conception of formal semantics, the article demonstrates the indispensability of the experimental approach to this field and the ways experimentation could inform and yield insights into theoretical accounts. Experimental methods could, on the one hand, make up for the inadequacy of theoretical analysis in tackling syntactically invisible meanings and the dynamic aspect of meaning. On the other hand, cognitive processes revealed by experimental techniques would contribute to the possible integration of truth-oriented work in formal semantics with a cognitively- oriented view of semantic competence.
