摘　　要：菊苣作为一种新兴作物越来越受到人们的重视，菊苣块根中含有大量的菊粉。菊粉可广泛应用于食品和医药工业。本文对根用菊苣的植物学特征进行了较为详细的描述，并对根用菊苣品种选育技术进行了简单介绍。chicory as a new crop of by people more and more attention, a lot of content in chicory root some inulin widely food and medicine industry in this paper, the botanical characteristics of chicory are discussed in detail, and from all botany characteristics of the chicory annual plants of chicory breeding selection.
